The Paramar are a Rajput dynasty in the South Asia, According to Hindu mythology they came from Agnivansha clan. The Paramara ruled the Malwa area in Central India that belonged to this dynasty.

In a second thought, the Parmar dynasty is said to have been a tribe of central India that raised to political prominence as the feudatory of the Rashtrakutas. They were Rajputs.

It maybe any thought about the origin, the Parmars but they establised their Kingdom at Malwa in central India in the 9th CE century, They rule from their Dhar. At the same time Parmar have great political and army power ancient India. The Paramaras ruled till 1305, when Ala ud din Khilji, the Khilji Sultan of Delhi atteked and won the Malwa. At that time Ala ud din Khilji, the Khilji Sultan of Delhi says " I was losted The Kingdom of Delhi for a Fist of millet". After sometime at the same age The Parmars power was greatly reduced and British came to in India. The Parmars cooperate with British victors. After India gained freedom from Britain in 1947,the Parmar royalty accepted by the central Indian government in New Delhi. the Parmar royals earned generous economic grants, called the "Privy Purse", from the central government, And they able to maintain the royal palaces, forts and other architectural spectacle. This Privy Purse was later finished by the central government, under the direction of that time Prime Minister Smt. Indira Gandhi.
