He refused to surrender to The Muslims and he started to gather a force, to occupyof Anhilwar.Karandev was defeated by this war and ran away with the queen Kamladevi (Kauladevi) and daughter Devaldevi. Karandev and Develdevi went to Devgarh, two princesses of Karandev and one of their queen Jadeja dynasties of Kachh were sent to Kutch-Saurashtra region. The Muslim ruler of Delhi, sent another a army was lead by the slave general Kafur, to assult Karandev in Devgadh, and captured back Karandev and his daughter Devaldevi.Thus,Karandev was the last Hindu king of anhilwar.
